Claudia Schiffer shows us it’s not *quite* time to give up the florals

Despite the weather becoming noticeably chillier in recent weeks, and all your favourite magazines and shopping haunts starting to turn their attention to coats, scarves and woollies, there is still some room for your summer attire, as today’s sunny blue skies will attest to.  One person who knows it’s not quite time to relegate the florals to the back of the wardrobe is supermodel Claudia Schiffer, who slipped on this bright and breezy wrap dress today to do the school run.  Cap sleeves add to the overall femininity, while the accessories (gorgeous beige D&G shoulder satchel, matching ballet flats and chunky YSL necklace) bring it back from the brink of being too twee.

If you’re keen to get in some last minute floral-wearing before the weather turns for good (although we have to say, there’s nothing like throwing on a poloneck knit and tights underneath with some knee-high boots to keep it going through autumn), then two pretty options we’ve found are this Diane von Furstenberg rainbow garden print wrap dress (€279 from and this £35 number from Dorothy Perkins.
