Vogue’s behind-the-scenes doco ‘The September Issue’ hits cinemas today

If you’ve missed all the hoopla surrounding The September Issue,  R.J. Cutler’s fly-on-the-wall documentary about the making of US Vogue‘s biggest and most famous issue of the year, then I’m sorry to say you are probably one of the minority!  The rest of us have been eagerly anticipating this release for a long time – from the very day we got wind film crews were tracking editor Anna Wintour‘s every move – and our excitement was cemented upon hearing Editor-at-Large Andre Leon Talley‘s cries of “it’s a famine of beauty!” in the trailer.

Well, the day has finally arrived, and The September Issue has been released today in UK cinemas.  To get properly psyched, follow our lead: Watch the trailer above, book your tickets online, practice your best steely Wintour gaze to try out on your friends later and then buy a pair of ridiculously high stilettos to really get you in the mood!
