Cheryl Cole and Kimberly Walsh were two of the three Girls Aloud members who got on their glad rags to attend the 2009 Pride of Britain Awards at Grosvenor House in London last night. Choosing failsafe black, their LBDs were both one-shouldered affairs, with Cheryl’s focusing on a pretty petal-like skirt and Kimberley’s displaying actual petals up to her neck! Find your own little black dress here.
Tess Daly and Nicola Roberts both went for cream concoctions, with Tess choosing a more subtle affair than Nicola, who was wearing a Vivienne Westwood dress that looks mighty familiar (Carrie Bradshaw’s wedding dress anyone??) If you fancy walking up the aisle and NOT the red carpet in this gorgeous frock, you can buy this ‘Lily’ wedding gown here.
Even though black can be boring at times (especially when it comes to red carpet events – c’mon ladies, give us something fun to look at!), Kelly Brook and Rachel Stevens are both so stunning they would look gorgeous even if wrapped up in the actual carpet! Kelly was working an Audrey Hepburn-esque look, complete with winged eyeliner, a new fringe and some rather fierce heels, while Rachel chose a comfortable long sleeved top and sequin-embellished skirt.
Katherine Jenkins hopped on the black dress brigade and looks chic and elegant as always – even with that weird bit of fabric hanging off the front! WAG and TV presenter Abbey Clancy did something a little different to everyone else, wearing this sheer number over what looks to be some satin shapewear. What do you think of her look – good or bad?
You’ve gotta love anyone who looks like they’re having a good time at these celebrity bashes (why do the stars all look so bored these days!?) so Davina McCall is like a breath of fresh air in her leather leggings and sequin top combo. Loved up Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne manage to stay true to their rocker roots on the red carpet, with the addition of leather and velvet jackets bringing a bit of unique style.
