Take inspiration from the red carpet at the Q Awards, London

We’ve brought you celebrity inspiration from the Hollywood Style Awards and the Vh1 Divas event, and now we’re analysing in depth the red carpet at the Q Awards which were held in London yesterday.  Then, fabulously, you can channel it into something you can actually shop for yourself on Empora. Bingo!
See product details below for these outfits inspired by Fearne Cotton and Pixie Lott

Fearne Cotton wore an Olivia Rubin tulip peplum dress with sheer lace sleeves, which you can actually own for your very self by purchasing from My-Wardrobe.  Fearne wore hers with leopard print wedge ankle boots which look… er, funky?  But we think they’d look much better with peep toe heels such as these.

Teenage pop singer Pixie Lott went for some razzle dazzle in this Gucci sequin frock with velvet sleeves and feather embellishment.  We think you could work some of your own magic with this Boohoo sequin dress – simply buy a feather cape such as this one from Lipsy for added drama.

Looking ever the glamourpuss, Sophie Ellis Bextor continues to prove that black needn’t be boring – her velvet and satin dress is the perfect choice for her retro style.  This Lipsy origami sleeve dress does the puffed sleeve thing rather nicely and would be given a Sophie twist if paired with some bright pink lips and batwing eyeliner.  Best of all, it’s on sale now for £30!

We are loving Lily Allen’s new ‘do – and we think her red carpet look is pretty fab too.  She managed to toe the line between comfy/casual and evening/glam by pairing her beaded, long sleeve dress with a pair of wet look leggings.  What a nice alternative for a night out – we’re inspired to try something similar, with this Paul Smith Black label mohair mini dress with some New Look £14 leggings underneath! Tres chic.
