As the days continue to decrease in temperature, the urge to lounge at home in a type of hibernation becomes all the more tempting. Snuggled up on the couch, DVDs at the ready, takeaways on their way and hot chocolate in hand – staying in has been the new going out since the credit crunch hit, but, as we head back into another winter, we seem to suddenly have plenty more reasons!
But just because you’re setting up for a marathon lounging session, doesn’t mean you can’t make the most of your wardrobe too. Lounging should all be about comfort and relaxation and the best way to kick start this feeling is by wearing cosy fabrics in natural fibres – soft knits, luxe cashmere, snuggly pure wool slippers and delicate cotton. Wrap yourself up in layers, take the phone off the hook and get ready to lounge!
